Sprocket
grew up on the tiny island of Lindau
in a large lake in the south of Germany. After studying in Berlin
during the final phase of the Berlin
Wall he moved to Austin, Texas to produce local access television
and play lots of Ultimate
Frisbee. Frisbee ultimately brought him to Hilo
where he fell in love with the Big
Island. He is deeply involved in the local community and one
of the core facilitators at Ecstatic
Dance. Sprocket hosts the Big Island Love online community
and resides on the board of directors at the historic Palace
Theater. He is a beekeeper, grows organic food and produces
the annual Hawaii
Electronic Music Festival.
