I'm originally from a small island in the very south of Germany called Lindau. After studying in Berlin during the last years of the Berlin Wall I lived in Austin, Texas. I ended up in Hilo and fell in love with the Big Island. I’m a designer, tour guide, audio visual artist and serve on the board of directors at the historic Palace Theater. I raise chickens, grow my own organic food and produce the Hawaii Electronic Music Festival which brings together talented musicians, artists and dancers from around the world.

I'm a bicycle enthusiast and consult the county of Hawaii to promote and improve bicycle infrastructure, help install new bike racks and plan safe bike paths. I'm a Hemp advocate and educate the public about the many uses of the Hemp plant, it's benefits for our survival and the ironies and injustices of the war on this most useful natural resource. The popular Big Island Love stickers are my way to send the message of LOVE around my community and the world.
